Business Description
Advent Business Sales are delighted to offer this established and profitable garage to the market.

The Company was founded in 1972 by the vendor’s father. It is now being sold as the directors wish to retire.

The garage offers a range of traditional workshop facilities to a diverse, mainly private, customer base.

Around 60% of the business is generated from servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT preparation work for private and light commercial vehicles. The remainder of the company turnover is produced from vehicle sales, where the business is well known locally for stocking a reliable inventory costing up to £3,000.

Much of the work is undertaken in house, but jobs such as bodywork and tyres are outsourced. From a customer perspective, the garage is a “one stop shop”.
The business is currently run by the two directors, assisted by two fully trained mechanics working on a full time basis.

The workshop is fully equipped, and included within the sale are:
• 2 x 2 post lifts
• A hoist,
• Engine crane,
• Diagnostic equipment
• An extensive range of sundry tools.

The business also has a fully functioning website, which acts as a showcase for vehicle sales, but could easily be extended to attract additional customers.

We are advised that the stock holding is usually around £30,000 and the vendors would be happy to assist the new buyer with a handover period should this be required.
