Advent Business Sales is pleased to have been instructed to offer to the market this extremely well established point of sale display equipment manufacturing business which has been trading with year by year turnover increases for the last 3 years.

The current vendors have been in ownership since the businesses inception and are reluctantly selling due to long established retirement plans.

The business has over 50 customers all over the UK and Southern Ireland, mainly in the jewellery trade with 5 major blue chip clients. An example of work just completed was for one major client, who required new sales display equipment for 700 shops around the UK, no small achievement for a company only three years old!

The point of sale equipment manufactured is mainly to display rings, necklaces, watches and bracelets although much can be bespoke developments for their client’s individual requirements. Not all the work is carried out ‘indoors’, for example vacuum forming injection moulding and carpentry is handed to specialists in these areas.

Jobs performed at the unit are clicker cutting, spraying and covering, assembling, finishing and packing/despatch as well as hand finishing design and originating.

The majority of the customers now are reached by recommendation and much of the communication is by telephone/email and fax, although face to face meetings either at the unit or at customer premises are sometimes required, particularly on new projects.

Forward continuation and potential could be derived by development of a website and possibly higher sales drive.

We envisage this business to sell as a ‘bolt on’ for a larger company or to be continued and developed by a younger team with good artistic flair and marketing skills. Truly an excellent business acquisition, which is well founded with a solid base of good paying customers.
